Panos Prevedouros to Submit Solutions to the New Current Issues Database –
Anticipates adding powerful solutions to infrastructure problems plaguing Honolulu
Honolulu, HI, May 11, 2010 : Today, Mayoral Candidate Panos Prevedouros announced that his infrastructure committee will be proposing a collection of solutions to the newly-formed Current Issues Database scheduled for ratification at the upcoming Hawaii Republican Party Convention.
“We have noticed the Current Issues Database needs more infrastructure solutions. If the combination of the new 2010 Hawaii Republican Party platform along with the 2010 Hawaii Republican Party Current Issues Database is ratified at Convention, our team will begin submitting our large body of infrastructure solutions addressing , traffic, energy, and sewage problems facing Honolulu”, said Dale Evans, chair of Prevedouros infrastructure committee, “The party has created a new, flexible structure to address today’s solutions and we look forward to collaborating with the Platform Committee”.
Panos Prevedouros recently joined the party and is planning on running in the anticipated Mayoral race this year. “The 2010 Platform makes it easy for me to see that I and the party shared similar values”, said Panos, “and now the flexibility of the Current Issues Database allows our team to fully engage with a collection of infrastructure solutions we will be submitting after convention”.
The innovative 21st Century Platform to be proposed at the upcoming convention combines the best of a conservative tradition by creating a 1-page Platform of Hawaii Republican Values along with a much more detailed Current Issues Database designed to be updated throughout the year. “This new approach allows the Hawaii Republican Party to stand firm on its values via the Platform while delivering clear positions on issues and inviting innovative solutions via the Current Issues Database”, said Platform Chair Ryan Markham, “we’re happy to see that Panos will be among the first candidates to get engaged on this exciting new approach to solving problems that have plagued Honolulu for decades”.
