LOCAL TEA PARTY ACTIVIST SEEKS PUBLIC OFFICE
Joseph Pandolfe, a local business owner touted as Honolulu’s original tea partier because of his role in last years Tax Day Tea Party says he’s running for office.
“The people are frustrated with business as usual in our government. Our Hawaii public school system is not putting the children first which is an outrage. Tax increase bills are advancing in the legislature which will lead to more business failure. Home sales are down and many owners are facing foreclosure. Unemployment is higher than ever. What people want is stability and that’s the choice I represent for the voters. I am the clear alternative and I will fight for the prosperity that we ought to have. If you believe in individual liberty and free enterprise then I am the clear choice for your vote.”
Joe is a small business owner with a child in sixth grade at public school. “These issues are concerns for all of us who care about our community. We should be doing the things in our state government that create jobs and keep taxes low. The state government should foster an environment that encourages free markets, security and a healthy balance between union & non-union work. That’s the choice I represent for the voter.”
He is running for State House Representative in District 18 (Hawaii Kai, Niu Valley, Aina Haina, Kahala). “Building Better Government” is the motto we are using on this campaign” says Joe. “I have faith in the people of Hawaii. We will transform our state government. The future of Hawaii is a bright one if we elect people that embrace the principles that promote prosperity and give individuals opportunities to succeed.”
Joe is announcing his candidacy at this year’s Tax Day Tea Party at the state capitol in Honolulu.
