An email sent this afternoon from OHA Trustee Robert Lindsey to pro-Crabbe activist Kaui Pratt has been discovered by Hawai’i Free Press.  It makes for an amusing read:

There are many out there (including some of our own-I will include one possibly two sitting Trustees in this treasonous group) who have become 'color blind,' who have a Personal Agenda and who are conspiring with our enemies to take away from us the first people of these special islands what little we have left in ‘aina resources and entitlements. They want to rob us of that. It's disgusting, utterly disgusting.

I have said at our People's table several times and I know I'm beginning to sound like a broken record: To be at our table one must have 'clean hands,' 'be able to walk on water (like Jesus)' and be 'Holier than thou.'  Last Thursday Chair Akana as we were going back into open session said to me the first Trustee she is going to put the FBI on is me. And to the "Empress with no clothes" I say "Bring it on. Bring it on. I am so honored and privileged." As a Servant Leader I have no fear. My hands are clean. My heart is pure. My intentions good.

Mahalo. Mahalo. Mahalo for all the external help Kaui you're providing OHA and Dr. Crabbe in these turbulent times. Your kokua is welcomed and appreciated. I sincerely mean that.

Rowena Akana Responds

Dear Editor:         January 31, 2017

Let's set the record straight.  The conversation Bob Lindsey speaks about never took place. He is a pathological liar. 

For two years he did nothing as a chair.  No accomplishments to his credit.  As a matter of fact his whole tenure at OHA has been to do nothing except to make sure he gave money away to the boards he sat on. 

He dares to talk about protecting the trust.  He is protecting the Administrator because the Administrator is protecting him, Apo, Machado, Apoliona and probably Stender.  They all have something on each other.  That is the real reason they want me removed as the chair. 

For two years we told him how unhappy the staff has been and how many people have left OHA because of the unfair treatment they received at the hands of the administrator and he did nothing. He was told how when employees made complaints those complaints were destroyed and instead the employees were disciplined.  He did nothing. 

Bob Lindsey is a coconut pretending to be a HAWAIIAN.  Ask people who worked with him on the Big Island when he worked for Bishop Estate. 

If anyone needs to resign it's him.
