Pohakuloa: Double defeat for anti-DU scammers

Big Island elected officials arriving to meet with Army representatives at Pohakuloa Training Area got a eye-opening surprise Wednesday morning  In addition to the usual gaggle of anti-Semites and 9-11 trooothers protesting against the military, they were greeted at the front gate by a dozen Big Island residents rallying to support the troops.

According to a source inside the closed briefing, the troop supporters became the topic of conversation within the meetings over and over again.  Community leaders were heard to exclaim "We had no idea that there was this much support for PTA and the military here on the Big Island.  All we ever see and hear about is the Jim Albertini protesters and their point of view!"  Hawaii County Mayor Billy Kenoi, Rep. Faye Hanohano, and others were in attendance.

Tagged as a “psychopath” by judge Samuel Wilder King, convicted felon and federal ex-con Albertini was joined at the rally by Ann “I am not an anti-Semite” Wright, a coalition partner of “World Can’t Wait", front for the Maoist Revolutionary Communist Party

Amusingly, the same gaggle of Maoists, anti-Semites, anti-Superferry protesters, and 9-11 trooothers met in Kea`au February 8 to listen to Chip Berlet of Political Research Associates tell them that TEA Party activists are a bunch of racists.  Berlet apparently told the assembled 9-11 trooothers that TEA Parties were “spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories….”  Can they spell cognitive dissonance?   In addition to Maoist front group “World Can’t Wait”, the event was co-sponsored by Albertini’s 9-11 trooothers from “Malu-Aina”, MANA UH Manoa, Truth 2 Youth, and the AFSC.  Mao Zedong murdered 70 million Chinese people.  Al-Qaeda wants to decapitate atheists, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, and Jews.  But the TEA party is “racist”.

Wednesday’s Pohakuloa support the troops contingent was only the beginning of the bad news for the trooothers.  That same day the Nuclear Regulatory Board denied the self-appointed activists any role in a US Army license application to handle depleted uranium. The NRB panel explained:

"In short, Mr. Albertini fails to show either that the Army's licensing action involves a significant source of radioactivity, that the radioactivity produces an obvious potential for off-site consequences, or that his home -- which is 25 miles from Pohakuloa -- is sufficiently close to the site to be presumptively affected by an off-site consequence."

So why is it that “all (our elected officials) ever see and hear about is the Jim Albertini protesters and their point of view?"
