You've heard my stance against the proposed general excise tax surcharge, but has the County Council heard you? Sign this petition opposing Bill 165 so that I may share it with the Council members when we discuss the tax increase in the Finance Committee on May 3.
A better solution than raising the General Excise Tax is to ask the State to return the Transient Accommodations Tax revenue that was taken from the counties in recent years. Will you sign this petition on returning Transient Accommodation Tax revenue to the four counties of the State of Hawai'i.?
