Below is a link to a website with all the bills alive this year, regularly updated, with active links. Click on the bill number and a white box appears. Click on that and you are in the Hawaii Legislature site on the History for that bill. From there the bill itself and the link to submit testimony are available as usual.

2nd Amendment supporters are severely threatened this year.
These bills have had hearings so far:
SB2647 (Fines for Sale of Ivory) passed with amendments by JDL committee. Amendments allow gun and knife exemptions and a one year moratorium. No opinion on this one now.
SB2954 (Firearm database, Hawaii Criminal JDC) passed with amendments by PSM committee
SB2956 (Mental illness; Firearms surrender) passed unamended by PSM committee. Oppose.
SB2950 (Rapback System) passed unamended by PSM committee. Oppose
HB2629 (Rapback System) passed with amendments by PBS committee
HB2632 (Mental Illness, Firearm seizure) decision making by HLT committee on Friday 2/12/2016 11:30am in conference room 329.
SB2314 SD1 A domestic violence bill at the behest of the domestic violence coalition. If a person charged with minor domestic abuse, like pushing or shoving, or sending unwelcome texts, and can't plead delayed acceptance of guilt (DAG) or (DANC), if convicted that person loses gun rights forever. Only a Governor's pardon can restore rights. In cases where it's allowed, and a DAG or DANC plea is accepted, the judge tells the defendant, keep out of trouble for a specified length of time, a year or two, and I will dismiss the charges. Oppose this loss of option for the court.
HB2528 the big island shooting range has been scheduled for a hearing. This is a big one that would be great if it became reality.
