HONOLULU (January 15, 2016) - Texas Senator Ted Cruz has registered for the March 8, 2016 Hawaii Republican Caucuses. Cruz joins Donald Trump, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and Ohio Governor John Kasich on the ballot.
Hawaii GOP Executive Director Marcia Tagavilla said: “We welcome all Republican Presidential campaigns to Hawaii. We look forward to other Republican Presidential candidates competing for Hawaii’s 16 GOP Convention delegates and helping build voter turnout for the March 8 Caucuses.”
Senator Cruz's Hawaii leadership team includes Rita Kama-Kimura, Willes Lee, and Marissa Kerns.
The outcome of the March 8 voting will directly determine proportional delegate allocation among the competing candidates. In 2012 over 10,000 Hawaii Republicans voted in the Presidential Caucuses.
The Hawaii GOP Caucuses will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 6PM to 8PM at dozens of voting locations statewide. Voting is open to Hawaii voters with photo ID who sign a GOP membership card at the polling place. Voting locations are posted on the GOP Hawaii website.

HOUSTON, Texas- Today, the Ted Cruz for President campaign announced its Hawaii Leadership Committee and filed to be on the ballot for the March 8th, 2016 Hawaii Republican Caucuses. The Cruz Hawaii Leadership Committee consists of Rita Kama-Kimura, Willes Lee and Marissa Kerns.

Willes Lee
Willes is a former Hawaii Republican Party State Chairman and RNC member. He served on the Republican National Convention 2004 and 2008 Platform Committee as a national delegate and served as RNC Assistant General Counsel during the 2012 National Convention.
Marissa Kerns
Marissa is the 1st Vice President for Hawaii Republican Assembly an official chapter of the National Federal of Republican Assemblies that endorsed Ted Cruz for President. Marissa was the Executive Community Leader for Honolulu Tea Party and a Republican candidate for Congressional District 2.
