WalletHub Study: 2015’s Best & Worst Community Colleges

With back-to-school season upon us and the U.S. community college system getting a makeover through major developments — such as the prospect of a free associate’s degree and 22 states authorizing their community colleges to offer four-year bachelor’s degree programs — the leading personal finance website WalletHub conducted an in-depth analysis of 2015’s Best & Worst Community Colleges then drew upon its results to identify the States with the Best & Worst Community College Systems.

To help prospective students and faculty find the right two-year institutions, WalletHub compared 670 community colleges across 17 key metrics. Our data set ranges from the cost of in-state tuition and fees to student-faculty ratio.
