Aloha 'Oe Rep. Colleen Meyer, Celebration of Life
Aloha friends, August 12, 2015
The Hawaii Republican Party ohana wishes to express our deepest sympathy and sorrow on the passing of former State Representative Colleen Rose Meyer. Representative Meyer served with distinction in the State House from 1994-2008, representing the Windward side of Oahu from Kahaluu to Laie.
A gracious lady and a stalwart Republican, Colleen was an independent business woman who worked as a real estate broker and property manager. She was born in Honolulu on March 8, 1939, graduated from Punahou School, and attended San Mateo College in California, earning her associate of arts degree in 1959. She is survived by her husband, George C. Meyer, two children, and two grandsons.
A Celebration of Life for Colleen will be held at home of Rick Towill and Crystal Rose in Kahaluu:
Saturday, August 15, 3:00 p.m.
47-460 Waihee Place
Kaneohe, HI 96744
Look for Meyer campaign signs to direct you. There will be plenty of parking. In true Colleen fashion, family and friends have asked visitors to "Leave Your Frown at Home" and join them for an informal celebration of Colleen with pupus, drinks and an open mic for anyone wishing to share some remarks about Colleen.
Condolences can be sent to:
The Meyer Family
47-309 Kamehameha Highway
Kaneohe, HI 96744
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Colleen's name to:
Shriners Hospital for Children Honolulu
1310 Punahou Street
Honolulu, HI 96826
We will greatly miss her aloha, passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to making Hawaii a better place to live for all. We ask that you please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Aloha,
Fritz Rohlfing
