Report Title:  County Surcharge on State Tax

Description:  Removes the authority of the City and County of Honolulu to collect county surcharges on state tax under Act 247, Session Laws of Hawaii 2005, beginning on January 1, 2016. Allows all counties, including the City and County of Honolulu, to adopt ordinances allowing for county surcharges on state general excise and use taxes at a .25 per cent rate, beginning January 1, 2017. Amends the administrative fee for the collection of a county surcharge by the State. (HB134 HD1)
