DJOU: REACTION TO PRESIDENT OBAMA’S SPEECH ON AFGHANISTAN
Republican Congressional Candidate and Honolulu City Councilmember Charles K. Djou reacted to President Obama's speech this evening on Afghanistan.
"After vacillating for months, I am happy the President has finally made up his mind to confront the Taliban and defeat Islamic radicals. This is the right decision and deserves our nation's full support," stated Djou. "The war in Afghanistan is a fight we must win."
Outside of the City Council, Djou is an officer in the Army Reserve. He is the only candidate in the race for Hawaii's 1st Congressional district to have ever served in the military.
