From Hawaii Republican Party July 11, 2014
Cook Political Report, an independent, non-partisan newsletter that analyzes elections and campaigns for the US House of Representatives, US Senate, Governors and President as well as American political trends, just moved the Hawaii Governor's race from "Likely Democrat" to "Lean Democrat."
This may not seem like much, but the next step is "Toss-up!"
Couple this with almost every poll to-date showing Duke leading Abercrombie, Ige, and Hannemann by several points - double digits in some cases - and it's more obvious that we'll be putting a Republican back in charge after November!
This comes after the National Journal Report, another nationally recognized publication, published an article titled, "Meet the Republican Who Could Take Hawaii From Democrats."
