Tim Lussier appointed Hawaii State Director for Western Liberty Network, announces exit from Grassroot Institute of Hawaii

Tim Lussier announced he has left Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, the nonpartisan nonprofit. Lussier was instrumental in realigning Grassroot’s vision and leveraging as a more effective public policy think tank. Western Liberty Network trains leaders and helps small government activists learn how to successfully engage in electoral politics at the local level. To help their organizations succeed and grow, WLN trains leaders how to build and lead their organizations. WLN is organized as a 501c(3) non-charitable organization.
“Our citizens are demanding for more accountable government with better services. It is about reducing waste and using bottom up solutions to improve the daily lives of our people. To this end, I will be taking my unstoppable passion and will manifest this destiny for a better society for all of us.” said Lussier said of his new role.
Lussier’s broad range of executive experience and an impressive capability of public relations create synergy to empower Hawaii community leaders.
The hiring of Lussier was strategic achievement for Grassroot Institute. Tim’s strong professional experience helped Grassroot grow through better effectiveness from his strong background in public relations and campaign management experience. He shares a vision of limited accountable government and helped lead Grassroot into a new and positive direction.
Hawaii has been Lussier's home and passion for some time. Prior to joining a Presidential campaign in 2012, Lussier graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication from Hawai‘i Pacific University where he served as Student Body President. He also earned a B.S. in Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Studies from HPU and was a Presidential Leadership Scholar. Lussier served as Western Digital Manager on the Presidential Campaign of Governor Mitt Romney at the national headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. He directed a staff of five in Western targeted swing states, including Nevada, Colorado, Iowa and Romney’s home of Michigan and Paul Ryan’s home of Wisconsin.

Originally from West Linn, Ore., Lussier has a national network of political, marketing, public relations, and management experience. He has worked on multiple campaigns in many states including Presidential, federal, state and local races.
