House Committees Demand Update on Hawaii Health Connector

NOTICE OF INFORMATIONAL BRIEFING
  • DATE: Thursday, December 12, 2013

A G E N D A

The purpose of this informational briefing is to receive further updates from the Hawai`i Health Connector, Office of Information Management & Technology, the Department of Human Services, the Insurance Division of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, and representatives of the medical health plans selling insurance on the Hawai`i Health Connector on the following topics:

  • the operations and functionality of Hawai`i’s insurance exchange;
  • the operations and functionality of KOLEA;
  • applications, eligibility determinations and enrollments on both KOLEA and the Hawai`i Health Connector;
  • the impact of recently promulgated federal rules related to implementation of the Hawai`i Health Connector exchange and the Affordable Care Act; and
  • potential and recommended legislation related to Hawai`i’s insurance exchange for the 2014 legislative session.

The following individuals or representatives from their organizations are invited to participate:

No public testimony will be accepted.
