Aloha,
It’s happening right here at home. I’m sure you saw the article in today’s Star Advertiser about ObamaCare’s effects on Hawaii’s families.
Here’s a snapshot: 25,000-30,000 Hawaii residents’ medical plans are set to be canceled January 1st.
Here’s a snapshot of what President Obama guaranteed in 2009, and was echoed by Democrat leaders Harry Reid, Dick Durbin and others.
What a shame. PERIOD.
The Administration is now scrambling to shore-up this mega-failure by rolling out even more confusing regulations. Simply put, nobody, including the insurance companies knows what is going on. As Ronald Reagan once said, “the nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.”
In the case of ObamaCare, these words could not be truer.
Even Reg Baker, chief operating officer for the Hawaii Medical Assurance Association (HMAA) said, "Obama is unpredictable. I don't know what he's going to come up with next or how regulations are going to be written or what changes he's going to make to reverse the (plans that have been canceled). Until we see the regulations on how he's going to implement his next newest promise, I'm not comfortable predicting the future."
