While the focus is on the Senate where SB1 is being debated, House Representatives have introduced six different bills addressing religious freedom, parental rights, parentage assumptions tied to marriage, and whether the people will get a chance to vote on marriage via a constitutional amendment.

HB6 Same-sex Marriage; Religious Freedom; Licensing -- RELATING TO CIVIL LIBERTIES.
HB7 Marriage; Civil Unions; Solemnization; Not Required -- RELATING TO PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS.
HB8 State Constitution; Marriage -- PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE HAWAII CONSTITUTION TO DEFINE MARRIAGE AS THE LAWFUL UNION OF ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN.
HB11 Sexuality Health Education; Religious Exemption -- RELATING TO SEXUALITY HEALTH EDUCATION.
HB12 Religious Liberty; Public Accommodations Exemption -- RELATING TO RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
