Thousands rallied this evening at the State Capitol. Their message to Legislators: No same-sex marriage -- let the people decide.
Sign wavers pack both sides of Beretania Street outside the Capitol and into the next block.
Organizers estimate 10,000 in attendance.

While pro-gay marriage rallies are poorly attended and consist predominantly of outsiders, those who support maintaining the nuclear family unit as the foundation of society represent a cross-section of Hawaii.
Sign-wavers also gathered in Hilo and Kailua-Kona and on Maui.
