News Release from Surfing the Nations
Enjoy surf art, live music, vendors, delicious food and the surf industry Wahiawa, Oahu (November 15 & 16, 2013) Surfing The Nations presents “Surf Art and the Surfer” art show at 63 Kamehameha Hwy, Wahiawa.
“Surf Art and the Surfer” Art Exhibition is Surfing The Nations’ first installment of an annual commitment to bring the surf community together and highlight the sport of surfing and the people who make surfing great. STN’s goal is to bring surfers, surf artists and photographers, surf historians and musicians, and surf lovers together to promote surfing and STN’s motto “Surfers Giving Back”.
A portion of the proceeds of art being sold will go to the Surfing The Nations outreach programs which include efforts geared towards feeding the hungry, mentoring youth at risk through surfing, after school art and tutoring programs, and international relief work.
Surfing the Nations is a non-profit, humanitarian organization based in Wahiawa, Hawaii that serves the local and international community through food distributions, surf clubs youth at risk mentoring and leadership development training.
We are so excited to welcome you to the Winter 2013 show. It will be a memorable night! The show will be open to the public from 7pm until 11pm Nov. 15th Nov. 16th. Thank you for your participation and support in our effort to promote “Surfers Giving Back.”
