Please Get Me Job in Sanitation Department
Dear Editor, November 20 2015
With trepidation and much concern about my taxes, assessments, retirement, and all the other categories the city council regard my monies as your personal piggy-bank, I have a simple question, “will you please get me, an old retired veteran on a fixed income, barely making do from month to month, a job in the lucrative SANITATION DEPARTMENT!!! WOW $134,000.00 per year, pays to work for the city simply “the best place to live and work….!
I looked on line for an opening in the Sanitation Department, but as Ms. Ann Kobayashi explained, there are no openings in a department that continually claims overtime because they don’t have enough personnel to cover all the work.
Sincerely,
Frank McCafferty

Hawaii Needs to Take Care of Homeless, not Syrian Muslims
Dear Editor, November 16, 2015
Governor Ige of Hawaii is a prime example of an elected executive whose interests are not of the state’s people but only his own. How many thinking people would tell the president to send the Syrian Muslim invasion into their state?
Hawaii has the largest homeless population in the nation and the state admits it cannot deal with the problem. So how will adding thousands of refugees help solve the homeless problem we now have?
Ige must have been out the day the briefing on Islam was given because otherwise he would know that the Hawaiian Culture reveres its gods and religion and for Muslims, only Allah is worthy of reverence. Perhaps Ige may be shocked when rapes go up here. He should not be though, because everyone else knows that since the Muslim invasion of Sweden, Sweden has become the rape capital of Europe. Perhaps Ige does not believe that an increase of rapes will help the tourist trade. IT WILL.
Hawaii does not have enough mental illness resources for the population it now has. Well what will we do with the invaders who are crazy? Where will he put the violent invaders who will preach and practice violence against women and non-believers?
It would be humorous if not tragic to see more sneak attacks on our military bases by the Jihadi who have used the “refugee” event to conceal themselves.
How about the costs associated with feeding the invasion force Halal food and providing the invaders with special accommodations? Where will Ige house the refugees when he cannot accommodate the homeless we already have?
This will all be on the head of Ige and those who support his misguided gesture.
