Sam King for OHA: I will work with Trustees to enact change
By News Release @ 3:20 PM :: 4739 Views :: Ethics, OHA

What is Going on at OHA?

Dear Friend,   June 13, 2018

Why is OHA being so grossly mismanaged?  Who are the trustees and why aren’t they doing anything? These are the questions I have been investigating for months. What I found has inspired me to switch from the at-large race to the Oahu race.

The pivotal vote for enacting change at OHA will come from the Oahu seat – my home seat. To inspire real change at OHA, we must remove CEO Crabbe. As has been outlined in the audits of OHA and my articles, he has mismanaged OHA for years and should no longer be the CEO.

As Oahu representative, I will work with other Board Trustees to enact needed change and begin the leadership reform that must to take place….

I will fight for the issues that affect all of us here on Oahu, such as the vastly important Kaka’ako Makai development project which represents a tremendous opportunity for Hawaiians on Oahu.

Oahu is my home, I was born and raised on Oahu and it would be a great honor to continue serving its people as my primary responsibility as OHA Trustee.

But to serve at OHA, we need to win the primary on August 11. In this election every bit of support you can manage makes a great difference.

So please, consider contribution just $25 to our campaign and help us reach our ultimate goal of making OHA work for Native Hawaiians, not for the ego and power of its leadership!

Mahalo,

Sam King
