Hirono Misses 144 Votes, Lingle Raising $144K
By Gov. Linda Lingle @ 4:29 PM :: 6022 Views :: Energy, Environment

From www.Lingle2012.com

My opponent, Congresswoman Mazie Hirono, has missed 144 votes in the U.S. House of Representatives so far this year. That’s why our campaign has set the goal to raise $144,000 -- $1,000 for each missed vote – by the September 30 Federal Election Commission fundraising deadline.

With 48 hours left, we’re getting close to $144,000 and your immediate donation could put us over the top. Can I count on you to chip in $5, $10, $25 or any amount right away?

Hawaii can’t afford absentee leadership. But that’s exactly what we’ll get if Mazie Hirono gets elected. Hirono can’t even be bothered to show up to her job now. Why would she show up if she’s a U.S. Senator?

When I was Governor, I showed up every single day to fight for bipartisan, commonsense solutions. And if you elect me to the U.S. Senate, I’ll do the same thing in Washington. But first I need to win this race, and that means ensuring our campaign has the resources to get my message on the airwaves and turn out voters to the polls. That’s why I’m asking for your urgent donation of $5, $10, $25 or any amount today.

With your help today, we’ll reach our $144,000 goal and have the resources to fully fund all of the critical election activities we have planned for the next 40 days. Mahalo nui loa for your support.

Sincerely,

Linda Lingle

P.S. Your immediate donation will bring us one step closer to reaching our $144,000 before Sunday’s midnight deadline. Can I count on you to chip in $5, $10, $25 or any amount right away? Your support is critical to ensuring our campaign has the resources to deliver a victory in November
