Celebrate Israel Day Hawaii, May 20
From http://israeldayhawaii.org
Dear Friend of Israel,
Thank you for your support, and rav todot to all who attended our 2011 event! This year, we'll celebrate again on Sunday, May 20th, 2012, at "Skygate Park," the festival grounds fronting the Frank F. Fasi Municipal Building - Koko Head side of Honolulu Hale.
Israel Day Hawaii is a Federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization located in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. Our mission, as an educational and cultural awareness group, is to create a broader understanding of the daily lives, plights, and celebrations of the people of the Holy Land - Israel.
We do this by producing the annual Israel Day Hawaii Festival in downtown Honolulu. Every spring, on a Sunday, we create a festive environment to commemorate Yom Ha’atzmaut – Israel's Independence Day, which comes at no charge for admission or parking.
To do this, we require equipment rentals, fees for various permits, as well as retainers for infrastructure, entertainment, and even rides.
This is why we need your kokua.
It is our greatest hope that these and other added costs will be offset by your generous contributions. Israel’s people come from many cultural backgrounds and religious affiliations, but as we unite in the spirit of sharing with our neighbors and community, it is important to remember that here - we are all kama’aina as well.
Please help us keep the spirit of Israel alive in Hawaii by sending a tax deductable contribution in any amount to:
