Message to Republican Party Members May 8, 2013
Aloha,
Dozens of Republican candidates are stepping up to run in the Honolulu Neighborhood Board elections. While many of the races are un-contested, I ask you to support the Republican candidates in the contested races listed below.

Neighborhood Board election voting runs from April 27 through Friday May 17. If you registered to vote in the 2012 State elections, you are automatically eligible to vote in the 2013 Neighborhood Board elections. The Neighborhood Commission Office has mailed pass codes to 180,000 eligible voters who may cast ballots online for contested seats on the 2013-2015 Neighborhood Boards. Voting is conducted only on-line or by telephone.
For many future political candidates, a Neighborhood Board election is the first step in their political career. These elections do not draw the turnout they deserve. Your participation can make a big difference for the Republican candidates in your community.
Voters may use the codes to cast ballots on their own computers from April 26 to May 17. The City will also make computers available to the public for voting during this period, on the second floor of the Mission Memorial Building beside Honolulu Hale and in Kapolei Hale’s Conference Room D, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays until voting ends on May 17.
Voters who can’t access the internet or the public computers may cast ballots by telephone at 1-888-907-6717.
