HFA CONCERNS FOR 2013 LEGISLATIVE SESSION

From Hawaii Family Advocates

Based on the 2012 legislative session activity, Hawaii Family Advocates expects the following matters to be brought up again in 2013 

·       Same Sex Marriage

·       Physician Assisted Suicide

·       Tax and/or fee increases

·       Transgendered Issues

·       So called “Safe Schools” legislation which is a Trojan horse hiding efforts to normalize homosexuality in the grade, middle and secondary schools.

·       Gambling

Hawaii Family Advocates is dedicated to preserving and advancing the interests of family, faith, and freedom. Hawaii Family Advocates supports traditional marriage, parental rights to raise and educate their children, adoption, and protection of the life of each person from conception to natural death. Hawaii Family Advocates opposes gambling, abortion and euthanasia, sometimes called physician assisted suicide. Hawaii Family Advocates supports religious liberty to enable the church to serve its mission in society without undue governmental restriction and regulation. Because of that, Hawaii Family Advocates supports protecting churches from liability for exercising the Religious Freedom guaranteed by the U.S. and Hawaii state constitutions.
