Happy Holidays from the Malulani Foundation

A New Hospital for the People of Maui

Message from Malulani Foundation Dec 23, 2011

We wanted to wish you, your family and friends a terrific holiday season. Much of life is about the relationships we make, hearts we touch and joy we share. Enjoy time this holiday season to love, laugh and play - it's still the best medicine.

The Malulani Foundation continues to lay the groundwork for a new, people's hospital on Maui. We believe Maui should have enough beds to handle the patient load along with world class services so families can stay together and support their loved one's through their time of need. We also believe that by strategically partnering with the community up front we can build the best possible hospital designed our unique island and county. One of our main goals is to add high tech and higher paying jobs on Maui, this is a perfect match. Wouldn't it be great to have more doctors, more nurses and more technical support and operations jobs available to the community and our children? We think so.

Community Advisory Panel

The Malulani Foundation is forming a community advisory panel to ensure we get input from all the various cultures and groups on Maui that have an interest in high quality, all inclusive local health care.

We expect to complete the forming of this council in February 2012. If you have nominations for those that are strong leaders and/or representatives please share them with us. Our Community Advisory panel will lead our charge where the communities needs and desires are concerned. Together we will build something great.
