Duke and Lynn Kick Off Statewide Bus Tour

From www.AionaFinnegan.com

Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan today announced they will embark on a statewide bus tour for their grassroots supporters to drive home their plan to create jobs, strengthen Hawai`i’s economy and improve education.

The Duke and Lynn Express kicks off today on Kaua`i, where the candidates for Governor and Lt. Governor will meet and talk story with supporters and undecided voters across the island, and will continue this week with stops on Maui, Hawai`i Island and O`ahu. The Duke and Lynn Express will feature sign waving, rallies, talk stories and special guest appearances.

“We're reaching out to every voter in every community on every island who believes Hawai‘i's best days are still ahead,” said Duke Aiona. “Lynn and I have bold and innovative solutions formed with the input and ideas of our working families and small businesses, and we are spending every last minute on encouraging our citizens to vote in this election and make sure their voice is heard. Our opponents are not being honest with the people of Hawai‘i, and they're trying to bring the divisive political culture of Washington to our islands."

"This election will determine how critical issues are handled in the future, and our opponents are not being straight about their plans to grow government at the expense of our working families and small businesses," said Lynn Finnegan. "They're either going to raise taxes or cut programs to pay for their empty promises. We are offering real solutions for a brighter future for all of Hawai‘i. On creating job opportunities, strengthening the economy and reforming public education, Duke and I have and will always stand on the side of the people."
