Hawai‘i COVID-19 Cases
News Release from Hawaii DoH, June 28, 2020
On 6/28/2020, the Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 27 new positive cases. One of the cases is on Hawai‘i Island, 1 is on Maui, 2 on Kaua‘i and 23 are on O‘ahu for a cumulative total of 899 cases statewide (reported since 2/28/2020). A previous case was removed due to updated lab information.
A total of 77,155 individuals have been tested in the state. (1,677 new tests)

SA: Hawaii health officials report 27 new coronavirus cases, including 17 associated with Oahu funeral -- “Intensive contact tracing identified the cases quickly, testing was conducted, and all are in isolation,” officials said in a news release. “Contact tracing also identified six cases in Leeward Oahu associated with known clusters, and all of the cases are in isolation.” The Big Island case was associated with travel to Georgia, and the two Kauai cases are part of a known cluster, they said….
