Anti-Telescope activists descended on the Hawaii County building “serving” elected officials with “judicial summons” and threatening to come back and make “arrests.” The activists videotaped themselves and posted the videos and their so called “judicial summons” to Facebook.
The videos, posted by the so-called “Aloha Nation Live Now” led by Hilo sovereignty activist Gene Tamashiro, show anti-telescope activists in black tactical vests labelled “HKPO” September 10, 2019 at the Hawaii County Building in Hilo.
The video is reminiscent of the January, 2019, ‘Atooi Nation’ attack on the Office of Hawaiian Affairs office in which two were arrested after OHA employees were beaten by Atooi activists.
The activists serve so-called “Judicial Summons” from the so-called “Hawaiian Kingdom Jural Assembly and HK Postal Treaty Defenders” for “unlawful destruction of the Kingdom Library” on Mauna Kea, among other things. Reading from the “summons” in a video of his visit to the Mayor’s office, Tamashiro says: “Failure to attend” a September 23, 2019 “Hawaiian Kingdom Jural Assembly” to answer a “notice and demand for particulars may result in a warrant of arrest being issued.”
Many sovereignty activists have felony records so Tamashiro just hasn’t made it very far up the totem pole yet. Tamashiro was convicted in Hilo District Court of criminal contempt and sentenced to one day in Hawaii County Jail May 24, 2018. Case# 3DCW-18-0001741. Also see case# 3SD17100001H from South Kohala District Court.
Impersonating a police officer is a felony.
The other anti-telescope activists were not identified in the videos so it is not clear what their criminal records are.
In the OHA attack the top offender was five time convicted felon and drug dealer Ene Faletogo. Another attacker had been convicted of violating a protective order and a third had a liquor-related conviction.
Reality: Sovereignty flows from the will of the people. The people’s will is statehood.
