Audit the Rail: Why does it matter?
From Grassroot Institute, May 6, 2019
"What now for rail?" was the question considered by three prominent guests at a sold-out luncheon event sponsored last week by the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii.
In order of appearance were Honolulu City Councilwoman Heidi Tsuneyoshi, whose bill to conduct a forensic audit of the rail was recently approved by the Honolulu City Council; Randall Roth, University of Hawaii professor emeritus of law and co-author of the blockbuster book "Broken Trust"; and Panos Prevedouros, chairman of the UH civil and environmental engineering department. Keli‘i Akina, president of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, moderated.
