County of Kaua‘i celebrates one year of Electronic Plan Review services
News Release from County of Kauai, February 4, 2019
LĪHU'E – The County of Kaua‘i celebrated one year of the county’s transition to 100 percent Electronic Plan Review (EPR) services on Friday, Feb. 1.
“I commend the Building Division and its staff for implementing this system, which creates added efficiency of the plan review process and reduces costs and waste associated with building permits and development approvals,” said Mayor Derek S. K. Kawakami.
The EPR process is a web-based solution that allows plans for building permits to be submitted electronically, which replaces the traditional paper-based review method.
For more information about the County’s EPR process, please visit www.kauai.gov/EPR.
