At 500 PM HST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Olivia was
located near latitude 20.1 North, longitude 159.0 West. Olivia is
moving toward the west-southwest near 20 mph (31 km/h). This motion

isolated amounts of 15 inches, especially in higher terrain. This
rainfall may produce life-threatening flash flooding. Nine inches of
rain have already fallen over parts of Maui.

SURF: Large swells generated by Olivia will impact parts of the
main Hawaiian Islands into tonight. This will result in dangerous
surf along east facing shores.
