Forced "Acceptance" Therapy Bill on Senate Floor (March 6, 2018)!
On Thursday, March 1, 2018, the full Senate voted on the bill that will have a chilling affect on parents who have children who have been sexually abused and are struggling with same-sex attraction. SB270 SD1 has been placed on the calendar for third reading on March 6, 2018 in the Senate.
Parents have the fundamental right to direct the care, education, and upbringing of their children-and to be intimately involved in the medical decision-making process of their children. Children struggling with unwanted same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria can benefit greatly from licensed mental health care, and parents should have the ultimate authority to decide the type of care they would like their child to receive. SB270 SD1 strips away those rights.
