Friday February 16, 2018 marks the ‘First Lateral’ drop-dead deadline for bills before the Legislature.
The Legislative website glossary defines a ‘Lateral’ Deadline as one “by which a bill must move to the final referral committee.”
Bills which have not moved to their final committee are removed from consideration for the session.
