Aloha mai! December 1, 2017
Did you know that not all of our keiki get equal funding for school?
Unlike DOE schools, charter schools have to use their funds to also pay for facilities, special education, transportation and other necessities. Because Public Charter Schools don't get funded the same way as DOE schools, the Republican Caucus will introduce legislation that strives for more equitable funding for all public schools, both DOE and Charter. Our bill package strives to make our government and our state more accountable, affordable, and accessible.

But we cannot do this alone, we need your help! If you believe all public school students should have equal funding, call your legislators and tell them to hear this bill. And when session begins, I look forward to seeing you at the legislature testifying in support. Let's make our voices heard!
