HAWAII SEXUAL ASSAULT KIT INITIATIVE RELEASES UPDATE ON NUMBER OF KITS SUBMITTED FOR TESTING

HONOLULU – Attorney General Doug Chin announced today a quarterly update regarding the submission of sexual assault evidence kits for testing. The new numbers, posted on the information dashboard for the Hawaii Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI), are current as of September 30, 2017. This update shows that the pace for sexual assault evidence kits submitted for testing has increased over the past three months.
