The chaos in Charlottesville was fueled by a particularly insidious and evil form of racism known as white supremacy. It was the same in Charleston, South Carolina when a white supremacist murdered nine people during a church service in 2015, and in Overland Park, Kansas when a KKK sympathizer murdered three people near a Jewish community center in 2014. Support Faith-Based Creativity!

From Hawaii Family Forum, August 18, 2017

Do you know anyone who is a cake designer, floral artist, photographer, graphic designer, printer, author, poet, speech writer, editor, publisher, marketer, filmmaker, tattoo artist, sculptor, or painter?

We have an exciting opportunity to share with you to support Colorado cake artist Jack Phillips and his case, Masterpiece Cakeshop, which the U.S. Supreme Court will hear later this year. At stake in this case is the liberty of ALL creative professionals to create art and expression consistent with their deeply held beliefs, whether religious or secular in nature.

Every artist should be free to follow their inspirations-not government mandates.

This is where you come in and how you can help!

  • If you're a creative professional, please join this friend-of-the-court brief being authored by the Center for Religious Expression by going to Sign Your Support and joining hundreds of creative professionals from across the country who are also standing for creative professionals' freedom to  create free from government coercion.
  • Reach out to creative professionals in your family, circle of friends, spouse's colleagues, children's school, etc. and encourage them to join the brief by signing up on the Sign Your Support Page.
  • Share the Sign Your Support Page on your personal Facebook page noting that this is an opportunity for creative professionals to stand for freedom and all creative professionals' ability to create free from government censorship.
  • Ask your pastor to share this opportunity and sign-up page at your church.

Thank you for standing in support of Jack Phillips and all Americans' freedom to peacefully live and work consistent with their convictions without fear of government punishment.

Once you sign up, you will receive an email confirmation with your time slot and further direction for prayer. You will also receive a reminder email the Friday before the vigil but it will not have your time slot on it - just a simple reminder.

As national polls more and more of our of young people are standing up for LIFE!  According to Students for Life, the "challenge comes in breaking through the apathy and motivating and training students to take a stand for Life on their campuses."

Students for Life of America (SFLA) is one of the nation's most active pro-life organizations and the largest youth pro-life organization. They are the only national pro-life organization dedicated to training and equipping college, high school, medical, and law school students.

What they need, are youth and young adults in Hawaii that are willing to take a stand for life in Hawai'i.  If you know a student in middle school through college who may be interested in starting a local group, or just want more information about what this means, please contact Stacey.  Public schools, private schools, homeschoolers and youth ministries are encouraged to participate.
