MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR FORMER STATE REP. MARK MOSES
From Hawaii Republican Party
Aloha Hawaii Republicans, March 1, 2017
The `ohana of former State Rep. Mark Moses invite you to a memorial service in his honor which will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11AM at the Fleet Reserve Association - Branch 46, 891 Valkenburgh Street, Honolulu, Hawaii.
An invaluable representative of his west Oahu district, Rep. Moses succumbed to a lengthy illness in late December with his family by his side. He was instrumental in lobbying for, passing legislation on, and having the foresight (together with others in the Legislature) to bring to fruition the many state buildings in Kapolei today, including the Kapolei Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, and the Kapolei Library.
A retired Marine Corps officer, Mark was first elected to the Hawaii House of Representatives in 1996. He represented a wide swath of west Oahu, including parts of Ewa, Kapolei, and Makakilo; an area now distributed among several state representatives due to population increases.
A tireless volunteer, Mark served with distinction as a member of the Hawaii Republican Party State Committee, and most recently as the Chairman of the Issues, Program, Platform/Resolutions Committee.
Mark leaves behind his wife, Suk, and children Michelle, James, Michael, Matthew, Madalyn, and Mitchell. Mark's son Jon predeceased him.
A graveside service for Rep. Moses was previously held in late December at the Veterans' Cemetery in Kaneohe.
