Hunting, Farming & Fishing Association backs candidates who “help feed Hawaii”

Group announces endorsements for 2016 Election Honolulu

News Release from Hunting, Farming & Fishing Association

(August 9, 2016) – The Hunting, Farming and Fishing Association (HFFA) announced its endorsement of several candidates for office who are committed to help feed Hawaii.

“Rural Hawaii needs leaders who understand country life and want to pursue and protect food security, self-sufficiency and the sacred Hawaiian traditions of living off the land and sea,” said HFFA founder Makani Christensen. “Our elected officials across the islands must work with local, state and federal governments to preserve and not restrict our rural Hawaii lifestyle.”

Members of HFFA catch the fish, raise the livestock, plant the crops and harvest the wildlife that fuel all industries on the islands.
