Djou Raises Triple the Amount Caldwell and Carlisle Raised
News Release from Djou Campaign August 3, 2016
Honolulu, HI - The Djou for Mayor campaign filed its second campaign finance report today with the Hawaii State Campaign Spending Commission. This is the first campaign spending report where all major candidates were raising and spending campaign funds over the same period of time (July 1- July 29, 2016).
Djou for Mayor reported having raised approximately $225,000 in contributions with just under $200,000 cash-on-hand for the reporting period. The Djou for Mayor campaign not only outraised both the Caldwell and Carlisle campaigns, the Djou for Mayor campaign nearly doubled the funds raised by both of the other major campaigns combined.

Charles Djou represented Hawaii's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House and previously served on the Honolulu City Council and Hawaii State House. Djou is an Army Reservist and Afghanistan war veteran. He is married to Stacey Kawasaki Djou and together they have three children.
