Sneak Peek at Our First TV Commercial
Message to Supporters July 12, 2016
As a trusted friend and supporter of Charles and the campaign, we wanted you to be the first to see our TV commercial, which will start airing tomorrow.
It is only because of your help that we were able to produce this commercial! We are starting our TV advertising now as Thursday is the last day to register to vote. If you haven't done so already, please encourage your family and friends to register to vote in the Primary Election here. This mayor's race can be won in the Primary with 51% of the vote!
We are excited about the continuing momentum of our growing mayoral campaign. But we also know that our campaign is built on your support. We do not have the campaign war chest that the incumbent mayor has -- so please, if you have the resources to give, help us today. Your contribution will immediately be put to good use in keeping this TV commercial on air.
In the meantime, we also want to share with you all that Charles and the campaign have been doing over the last few days. Along with the yard signs and signwaving that you continue to see throughout the island, Charles has been all around Oahu talking about his plans to restore trust at Honolulu Hale and fix the mess with the rail system.
On Saturday, Charles attended the Japanese Women's Society Foundation Luncheon in Waialae, before heading to Kuilima for the Turtle Bay Volleyball tournament followed by the Haleiwa Bon Dance.
On Sunday, Charles was in Kaneohe for a talk-story with area residents.
Yesterday, Charles was in Mililani visiting the employees at Oceanic Time Warner.
Today, Charles was in Downtown bright and early in the morning greeting employees at Hawaiian Telcom, before heading to the Japanese Chamber of Commerce Luncheon in Waikiki and then the Arcadia Senior Residence in Manoa.
This campaign is running hard and we will keep pushing straight to election day on August 13 for an upset victory with your help.
Aloha,
Team Djou
PS - Thank you again for your support, Please consider making a contribution of $50, $100, $250 or any amount up to the legal limit of $4,000, to help us keep this commercial on air.
