March for Life
From Hawaii Family Forum January 15, 2016
On January 22, 2016 from 2:30pm to 8pm at the State Capitol, Hawaii Family Forum and Hawaii Family Advocates will join thousands of other pro-life advocates across the United States, and in Hawai'i for the annual March for Life.

These events are filled with large crowds from coast to coast, memorializing the unjust Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision which established the legal killing of unborn keiki in 1973. Even before that, on March 13, 1970, Hawaii changed its 100-year-old law on abortion and became the first state in the nation to allow abortion essentially at the request of the woman. Since then, the lives of more than 57 million babies have been lost.
The annual March for Life is the largest pro-life event that takes place in Hawai'i – and our chance to advocate for the sanctity of life and the dignity of each human person. With your help, we can set a record for attendance in Hawai'i for 2016. Because of the generosity of the Pearson Foundation of Hawaii, each participant will have the opportunity to light a candle in memory of one of these little lives lost to abortion. This beautiful ceremony will take place directly after the March for Life.
As we prepare for the March for Life, we ask you to pray for all those participating, as well as for the legislators in the Capitol Rotunda. Pray for the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to fall upon the Capitol Rotunda - that each legislator would feel the silent touch of truth.
Mahalo for standing up for the babies who were not given the chance to do so. See you there!
