Public meeting for Honolulu bikeways January 13

The Department of Transportation Services will hold a community-based public informational meeting regarding several proposed bikeway and roadway projects in the Honolulu urban core on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Neal Blaisdell Center, Hawaii Suite.
The meeting agenda includes the following:
- Proposed South Street protected bike lane/bike lanes, including new designs based on community input and anticipated roadway changes;
- Proposed South Street partial 2-way conversion;
- Proposed Halekauwila Street partial 1-way conversion;
- S. King Street protected bike lane update and receipt of comments/concerns.
This meeting will provide the community, residents, and businesses alike an opportunity to review proposed bikeway and roadway projects in the Honolulu urban core, offer comments, voice concerns, and ask questions.
The Hawaii Suite of the Neal Blaisdell Center is ADA accessible.
