Did you know that we have the opportunity to fundamentally change the way our city government works? This is done through amendments of our Honolulu City Charter.
Did you know that the Honolulu Charter Commission received over 150 proposals for consideration, and they are currently planning on permanently deferring some of those proposals?
The list of potential deferrals is listed on their agenda for their next meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday December 17 at 3:30 p.m. Please take a few minutes to go through these proposals and send in testimony. Your opinion is important.
Note that the agenda is not yet posted on the commission's website.
