We really need your prayers and kokua!

These kinds of emails are never easy to write and they are even harder to send.  We understand that you are besieged daily with requests just like this one, but there is no way to sugarcoat this, if we do nothing, our sick and elderly kupuna may very well be left to die and our keiki left to the mercy of Planned Parenthood!

• Our inside sources have reported that pro doctor assisted-suicide groups are preparing to spend big money in Hawai'i to establish doctor-assisted death next legislative session; 
• Big tobacco companies are partnering with local individuals to run medical marijuana dispensaries.   While the ink is not even dry on the marijuana dispensary bill, proponents are already lobbying for full recreational marijuana;
• Planned Parenthood is mobilizing pro-choice groups, business leaders and legislators to expand their liberal sex education agenda inside our public schools.  They are doing this while more and more details of their aggrieved behind-the-scene behavior is brought into the light;
• A local hospital has partnered with the University of Hawai'i to study bleeding on individuals that choose to procure an abortion.   Our state law currently allows 14 and 15 year old girls to have an abortion WITHOUT THEIR PARENTS CONSENT OR NOTIFICATION.  166 local keiki will lose their lives as part of this “study.”

I’m sure you will agree that these things are not what people of faith envision for Hawai’i.  Now, more than ever, the balanced, compassionate and loving approach of Hawaii Family Forum is needed to combat the manipulation of the mainstream media and the growing anti-life and anti-family sentiments across our beloved state!

Let’s be very clear, we need to raise funds immediately to stop these attacks on life and family!  We must wage a strategic educational and grassroots campaign to turn this all around and that will take funding.

Your past support for Hawaii Family Forum, either financially or by prayer, tells me you care about protecting the ohana and the deep values we represent.  Will you let Hawai'i become the next state to allow doctor-assisted death?  Should our keiki fall prey to drug abuse by the expansion of marijuana use and big tobacco companies?  Should they continue to be targets of pro-choice activists in their schools?

With your generous support, pro-family people in Hawai'i will be inspired and equipped to make their voices heard for preborn babies; for every child to have the best chance to have a mom and a dad; and for our freedom to practice our religion and live our lives according to our consciences.  Will you help us restore Hawai'i to foundational values found in our State motto?  “U’a mau, ke e’a o ka ãina i ka pono” (the life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness).
