How They Voted: Sex, Drugs, and Birth Certificates Cross Over

MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES, DECRIMINALIZATION OF MARIJUANA, BIRTH CERTIFICATES, SEX EDUCATION, AND SAFE PLACES PASS ORIGINATING CHAMBERS!

From Hawaii Family Advocates, March 11, 2015

Tomorrow is CROSSOVER, which means that all bills that have passed a final vote in their originating chambers are moving over the other side where the process will begin all over again. In other words, House bills will now move through Senate committees and Senate bills will move through House committees.

Yesterday both the Senate and House members voted on several bills and I wanted to make sure you knew exactly how they voted.  I do want to make a note, however, that sometimes when a legislator votes "support with reservations" it may mean that they want to be part of any potential conference committee (when both house and senate members are placed on a committee to work on any issues with a bill).  If your legislator voted "yes with reservations" you should contact them directly and find out what kinds of concerns they have.

...For the reason we noted above, we encourage you to call those members who voted with reservations.
