Hawai‘i’s newest talk-radio show — “808 State Update” with Duke Aiona and Dawn O’Brien — is more updated than ever: moving to a new time slot of 4-6 p.m.
“We’re targeting more traffic by catching more people actually in traffic,”Aiona announced, “It’s simply taking the #1 traffic in the nation and making the best of it! A ‘captive audience’ more-than-ready for change, and that’s what our show is all about!”
Since its premier show on the first Monday of January 2015, “808 State Update” has broken news stories not covered elsewhere (e.g. Hawai‘i’s grocery shortage as well as terror attacks in Israel). In addition, they also feature insider’s insight into the state government’s most pressing issues: Rail’s $1-billion over-expenditure, worst homelessness rating in the nation, and why medical marijuana should not be the legislators’ most pressing issue.
“Bottom Line: we’re bringing you the most relevant breaking news with real talk that impacts every person in our ‘808 State,’” said O’Brien.“It’s vital for our future!”
