House Briefing to Look at UH Budget Request

The purpose of this informational briefing is to discuss the University of Hawaii Budget Request for Fiscal Biennium 2015-17 and to follow up on legislative items and priorities from past briefings in a transparent and open meeting. This will be an opportunity for the new members of the committee to learn about the UH System and campuses, as well as to discuss future legislation.

Each division of the University is invited to present their priorities and plans.

For UH Divisions, written testimony is strongly recommended to allow committee members time to review the information to be presented.  Drop off at Vice-Chair Ichiyama's office 327 by: DECEMBER 12, 2014, 5:00 P.M.  If you are bringing materials the day of the informational briefing, please bring 20 copies.

PLEASE NOTE:  The times allotted are subject to change depending upon the length of discussions.  We recommend that UH divisions scheduled for the AM be there at 8:30 a.m. and the UH divisions scheduled for the PM be there at 12:30 p.m.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids and/or services to participate in the informational briefing (i.e., sign language interpreter or wheelchair accessibility), or for further information, please contact the Committee Clerk at (808) 586-8475 to make a request for arrangements at least 24 hours prior to the briefing.  Prompt requests help to ensure the availability of qualified individuals and appropriate accommodations.
