NRA President to speak in Hawaii

Message to Supporters from Hawaii Republican Assembly

Please join conservatives, 2nd Amendment supporters and gun enthusiasts this Saturday November 8 for a very special event to honor veterans on Veterans Day weekend as the Hawaii Republican Assembly (HIRA) proudly presents "An Evening with National Rifle Association (NRA) President Jim Porter" at the beautiful Pearl Country Club in Aiea.

This Saturday, the Hawaii Republican Assembly will be hosting Jim Porter for an unforgettable evening in honor of America's veterans and the rights for which they fought.  Tickets are on sale now -- just $55 each for HIRA members and $65 each for non-members.  Admission includes dinner plus VIP keynote by the NRA's Jim Porter and appearances by other special guests.  No host cocktails will be available before and during dinner.

TICKETS ON SALE NOW

This special event will be held at the Pearl Country Club, overlooking Pearl Harbor and West Oahu, with beautiful views of the USS Arizona memorial, the USS Missouri and more.

Proceeds from your ticket purchase benefit the Hawaii Republican Assembly’s political SuperPAC “HIRA Action” which is committed to preserving, protecting and expanding the ability of law-abiding Hawaii residents to exercise their gun rights for recreational and sporting purposes as well as for self-defense.

Even a certain Hawaii-born sitting U.S. President who has not been a friend to gun owners had to acknowledge the obvious in 2012: "We recognize the traditions of gun ownership that passed on from generation to generation, that hunting and shooting are part of a cherished national heritage."

But politicians only hear the loudest and most consistent voices. In Hawaii, those voices are too often the ones belonging to anti-gun extremists who see no difference between the law-abiding citizen and the criminal. Thanks to NRA president Jim Porter, the Hawaii Republican Assembly will have a fighting chance to tip the scales in favor of our cherished 2nd Amendment rights that our brave veterans fought and died to protect.

That's why it's so important that you attend this event THIS SATURDAY. The Hawaii Republican Assembly, the state’s leading conservative political action organization, is determined to restore gun rights for law-abiding citizens in the Hawaiian Islands and make dozens of other positive changes that will improve life in the Aloha State.  Join Us Today, Change Hawaii Tomorrow.

We really hope to see you there. Mahalo for your support!

Sincerely,

Tito Montes
