Charles Djou Announces 30-Day Plan

Our 30 Day Plan

Aloha   November 2, 2014

In less than 48 hours, the polls will open across Hawai'i to determine what may be one of the closest races for Congress in our state's history.  I hope you are as excited as I am at the prospect of changing Hawai'i and America for the better.

When we started running for this office in April, we began with a commitment toward making life better for the people of Hawai‘i.  As this race now draws to a close, I am honored to have been with so many of you as we fight hard to bring our message that Hawai'i deserves better and that we need a representative who is ready to fight for Hawai'i on day one.

I want you to know, that if we are honored to win this race, in our first 30 days in office, I will:

  • Co-sponsor a balanced budget amendment to reduce government debt and spending.
  • Introduce legislation exempting Hawai‘i from the Jones Act.  This monopoly shipping law has increased the cost of living in Hawai‘i.
  • Meet with the Micronesian government to address the rising homeless population in Hawai‘i.
  • Work with the Obama administration to expand the visa waiver program to include the Philippines.

This campaign has always been about making a difference and caring for people.  We are on the cusp of making history with this race.

Mahalo for your help, we now need just that little extra push from you with a donation of time or money in these final hours.  My family and I are honored to have your support.

Aloha,

Charles K. Djou
