Hawaii Is the 3rd Least Politically Engaged State – WalletHub Study
From Wallet Hub October 27, 2014
With only 14.8 percent of eligible voters casting ballots at the first 25 of this year’s state primaries and downward voting trends plaguing the past 50 years, the leading personal finance social network WalletHub conducted an in-depth analysis of 2014’s Most and Least Politically Engaged States.
In order to find the most and least civically engaged Americans, WalletHub analyzed each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia across six key metrics. They range from the percentage of registered voters in the 2012 presidential election to the total political contributions per adult population.
